Starting at $76,800 USD! The 2026 Lotus Eletre has been launched.

On September 21, the new Lotus Eletre was launched. The new model is positioned as a large SUV, with three variants available, starting at ¥558,000. Compared to the previous model, the new car features upgrades in vehicle configuration.



Exterior: The design remains largely the same as the 2025 model, continuing the Evija-inspired porous design. The engine hood has an inwardly curved shape on both sides, paired with split headlights, creating a dynamic visual effect. The car comes standard with an active grille that helps with vehicle cooling when open and increases the range by 15 km and downforce by 22.5 kg when closed. Standard features include 21-inch wheels, electric doors, and an active rear spoiler. In terms of dimensions, the car is 5103 mm long, 2019 mm wide, and 1636 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3019 mm. It comes with 22-inch, 10-spoke forged gray wheels as standard, with the 600/600 SE models equipped with 6-piston fixed and rear floating calipers, and the 900 variant features a 10-piston carbon-ceramic braking system.

Body: The car adopts a fastback SUV design, featuring several smooth lines that enhance its sporty feel. The doors are equipped with hidden handles, which reduce drag and improve safety for passengers while driving. The tail lights feature a full-width design, enhancing the vehicle’s visibility when lit.

Interior: The interior features extensive use of carbon fiber panels and leather, adding to the luxury feel. Both the driver and passenger seats are equipped with 12.6-inch elongated full LCD displays, while the center console features a 15.1-inch floating OLED multimedia touchscreen. The steering wheel has a flat top and bottom design, complementing the floating center screen, creating a minimalist and elegant interior. Standard features include dual-chamber air suspension with CDC, a 55-inch AR-HUD heads-up display, a 15-speaker KEF audio system, heated steering wheel, 12-way adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats.

Powertrain: The new car continues to use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The 600 and 600SE models have a maximum power output of 450 kW and 710 Nm, paired with a single-speed transmission. The top speed is 250 km/h, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. The 900 model delivers 675 kW and 985 Nm, with acceleration times of 4.5 seconds and 2.95 seconds for 0-100 km/h. The battery capacity is 112 kWh, with a CLTC range of 650 km for the 600 and 600SE models, and 560 km for the 900 model.

It’s also worth mentioning that in addition to the launch of the Lotus Eletre today, the new Lotus sports car, the Emeya, was also officially released. The new Emeya is positioned as a large vehicle, with three variants available, priced between ¥538,000 and ¥828,000. As an annual update, the new Lotus Emeya features minor changes to its exterior, mainly upgrading vehicle details and configurations.

According to reports, Lotus Cars (LUTOS) was originally a famous British sports car manufacturer founded in January 1952. In its early years, it was regarded alongside Ferrari and Porsche as one of the top three sports car brands. In 2017, Lotus was acquired by the Geely Holding Group, and since then, Lotus has fully transitioned into a pure electric sports car brand. In 2018, Lotus launched its “Vision80 Ten-Year Brand Revitalization Plan.” In 2020, Lotus Technology was established, with Geely Holding owning 60% of the shares. In February 2024, Lotus Technology went public in New York. Currently, the available Lotus models include the petrol-powered Emira supercar, the electric Evija supercar, the electric Eletre SUV, and the electric Emeya sedan. According to data, Lotus Cars sold a total of 12,065 vehicles worldwide last year, with 2,836 units sold in the Chinese market.
