On October 23, Lynk & Co officially launched the 2026 Lynk & Co 09 AWD Explorer Edition. The new model is available in two trims — the Explorer Max AWD and Explorer Ultra AWD — priced at RMB 238,800 and RMB 248,800, respectively. For a limited time, special prices are set at RMB 198,800 and RMB 208,800.

Exterior Design
As a facelifted model, the new 09 largely retains the design language of its predecessor. The front fascia features a vertical waterfall grille paired with the signature Lynk & Co split headlights, with a darkened grille finish enhancing its sporty appeal. The top-spec variant comes with 84 LED matrix headlights, supporting AFS adaptive steering and ADB smart high-beam control.
From the side, the SUV presents a robust and muscular silhouette, with a three-section waistline and sculpted lower door panels. It rides on newly designed 20-inch “Light Radiance” alloy wheels fitted with 275/45 R20 tires, giving it a more dynamic stance.
In terms of color options, in addition to the existing black and white, two new colors — Midnight Purple and Wild Green — are added, making a total of four exterior choices. The vehicle measures 5,042 mm in length, 1,977 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a 2,984 mm wheelbase, positioning it as a mid-to-large SUV.
At the rear, slim LED taillights arranged in a horizontal layout enhance recognition, while a gloss-black diffuser-style bumper emphasizes its sporty character. The exhaust adopts a hidden layout for a cleaner look.
Interior and Technology
Inside, the cabin has received subtle updates. A new Sunlight Beige interior color joins the existing Sandstone Brown option.
The 09 features a 15.4-inch floating central touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.8-inch W-HUD head-up display. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, it supports four-zone voice control, in-car karaoke, and other smart functions.
Notably, the upper and lower dual-screen setup has been replaced by a simplified single-screen design, with the physical rotary knob removed for a more intuitive user experience.
Driver assistance comes via the LynkCo-Pilot system, which includes 20+ standard ADAS features. The interior adopts a 2+3 five-seat layout.
Powertrain
The SUV is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering a maximum output of 187 kW and 350 N·m of torque. The powertrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, with a top speed of 215 km/h.
Market Positioning and Competition
The Lynk & Co 09, a mid-to-large SUV first launched in October 2021, now faces rivals such as the SAIC Volkswagen Teramont Plus, Hongqi HS7, and Dongfeng Nissan Pathfinder. With its competitive pricing and upgraded features, the new 09 aims to strengthen Lynk & Co’s foothold in this segment.
