Background of Xuan Ying and Lv Chuanwen:
Both Xuan Ying and Lv Chuanwen were long-standing figures at Dongfeng Motor.

He joined Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor in 1990, working in financial roles, and later held positions such as Director of the Finance Department, Assistant General Manager, and Vice General Manager. In November 2017, Xuan became General Manager of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor and later, in December 2018, assumed the role of Party Secretary until his investigation. Dongfeng’s Disciplinary Committee’s Remarks:
The Dongfeng Disciplinary Committee pointed out that some of these violations occurred after the 20th Party Congress, showing a lack of restraint. Some of the violations even occurred during the period when the Central Eight Regulations were being actively promoted. These incidents indicate that, despite ongoing anti-corruption efforts, some Party members and cadres still exhibit weak political awareness, a lack of discipline, and a sense of impunity, leading them to cross disciplinary and legal lines. The lessons learned from these cases are profound.
With the growth of the automotive industry, the automotive market has become increasingly complex. Departments involving large financial transactions, such as sales, media relations, and advertising, are particularly prone to corruption. As a central state-owned enterprise in the automotive industry, Dongfeng has been very proactive in its anti-corruption efforts, with management being investigated across various departments and subsidiaries. Since 2025, Dongfeng has reported 13 anti-corruption cases, with an average of two managers being investigated each month, highlighting the severity of corruption within the company.
