Official announcement! Wang Hui appointed Chairman of Avita

On September 19th, Avita Technology announced that Wang Hui has succeeded Zhu Huaron as Chairman of Avita Technology. Wang will be fully responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic planning and decision-making, business management, global operations, and other key areas. Wang Hui has also launched a Weibo account, where he is verified as the “Chairman of Avita Technology.”



From the early days of Avita’s establishment, Wang Hui has strongly supported the development of the Avita brand, leading the strategic partnership between Avita and Huawei. He successfully advanced Avita’s investment intentions in Huawei’s automotive business unit. According to available information, Wang Hui joined Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. in July 2003, initially working in the Process Planning Department of the Research Institute. He later held various positions, including Director of the Strategic Planning Department, Director of the New Business Coordination Project Team, and Director of the Company Office. He also served as Executive Vice President and Party Secretary of Changan Mazda Engine Co., Ltd., General Manager of Changan Automobile’s Overseas Business Development Department, and General Manager of the Southeast Asia Business Department, accumulating extensive management experience and a strong global and strategic vision. In September 2022, Changan Automobile announced that He Chaobing, the former Executive Vice President, had stepped down due to a job change. Wang Hui was nominated by the President to take over as Vice President, marking this personnel adjustment as an important step in optimizing and rejuvenating Changan Automobile’s management team. Wang Hui became one of the core members of the 80s-generation executive team at Changan Automobile.

Since its inception, Avita has launched three models: the Avita 11, Avita 12, and Avita 07. Retail data shows that in 2024, Avita’s cumulative sales reached 55,537 vehicles, and from January to August 2025, sales totaled 70,402 vehicles. The best-selling model was the Avita 07 with 30,717 units sold, followed by the Avita 06 with 24,150 units, the Avita 12 with 13,030 units, and the Avita 11 with 2,485 units.

Ahead of the 2025 Munich Auto Show, Avita unveiled its all-new concept car, the VISION XPECTRA. The new vehicle previews a fresh design language, with an upgraded sense of luxury. Avita plans to release four new models over the next three years, featuring dual-power systems and targeting the luxury market in the 250,000-700,000 yuan range. The design concept of this car may be applied to a brand-new large six-seat flagship SUV, expected to launch in 2026.

According to its plans, Avita aims to expand into the European market in 2026 and reach an overseas sales target of 60,000 vehicles by 2027. Over the next three years, the company intends to cover all five continents. By 2030, Avita will launch 17 new products, expanding its product lineup to include SUVs, MPVs, and sports cars. Avita Technology stated that under the guidance of the “New Changan” strategy, the company is at a crucial stage of brand development and accelerated globalization. Wang Hui’s appointment will further strengthen Avita’s new luxury strategy, integrate global premium resources, expand its focus on intelligence and electrification, and accelerate the expansion into overseas markets, striving to establish Avita as a global leader in luxury smart electric vehicles.
