Ferrari Amalfi Makes Its China Debut — Starting at Approximately $358,000 USD

On October 16, Ferrari officially announced that the Ferrari Amalfi made its domestic debut in China, with a starting MSRP of ¥2,598,500 (approximately $358,000 USD). The first batch of deliveries is scheduled for Q4 2026. The model had its global debut in July, drawing design inspiration from the Speedform concept project, and is powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the F154 series, capable of accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds.

Exterior Design
The Ferrari Amalfi adopts a sleek and minimalist design philosophy, inspired by the fluid, sculptural lines of the Speedform concept, giving the car a dynamic, forward-leaning stance.
The front fascia features large air intakes and a long, contoured hood, beneath which lies the twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing a maximum output of 640 cv (approximately 632 hp). The design emphasizes aerodynamic precision and muscular elegance.

At the rear, an active spoiler improves high-speed stability, while forged alloy wheels and carbon-fiber details add sportiness and refined aesthetics. A distinctive line encircles the tail, creating a clean, sculpted outline, with taillights subtly integrated into geometric cutouts for a futuristic look.

Interior and Features
Inside, the Amalfi retains Ferrari’s dual-cockpit layout, featuring a new steering wheel with physical controls and an integrated central display. Ergonomic controls ensure intuitive operation, even while driving. The cabin extensively uses carbon fiber materials, contrasted with two-tone stitching for a refined performance-oriented feel.
The 2+ seating configuration enhances practicality — the rear seats can expand storage capacity or accommodate small children.

The Amalfi incorporates Ferrari’s latest infotainment technologies, offering full connectivity and standard Apple CarPlay®, along with wireless smartphone charging. A newly designed digital instrument cluster, steering interface, and 10.25-inch central display create an immersive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) experience.

Optional features include a front-lift system, which can raise the car’s front end by up to 40 mm at speeds below 35 km/h, improving clearance over obstacles.

Safety and Driver Assistance
The Amalfi comes equipped with Ferrari’s latest generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include:

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)

Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)

Automatic High Beam Assist

Traffic Sign Recognition & Assistance

Driver Drowsiness and Distraction Monitoring

Optional systems include a 360° Surround View Camera and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. All functions can be customized through the instrument cluster menu and are deeply integrated with the vehicle’s electronic architecture, utilizing radar, cameras, and dedicated control units for seamless coordination.

Powertrain and Performance
Powering the Ferrari Amalfi is the F154-series twin-turbocharged V8 engine, newly tuned for enhanced boost response and power delivery, generating 640 cv (632 hp). Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, it delivers rapid and smooth gear shifts.

0–100 km/h: 3.3 seconds

0–200 km/h: 9.0 seconds

The Amalfi also benefits from a brake-by-wire system and an “ABS Evo” controller, optimized for various road surfaces and driving modes. The steering system has been recalibrated for greater precision and linear feedback, while the active aerodynamic system — including a new integrated movable rear wing — ensures exceptional stability under all driving conditions and Manettino settings.

Lightweight Engineering
Ferrari engineers devoted considerable effort to weight reduction. The new lightweight camshaft alone saves 1.3 kg, and the redesigned engine block, machined to remove non-structural material, trims an additional 1 kg. For the first time, this Ferrari V8 employs low-viscosity lubricating oil, which reduces cold-start friction by 30%, significantly improving warm-up efficiency and overall engine responsiveness.

In summary, the Ferrari Amalfi represents a fusion of elegance, performance, and innovation, carrying forward Ferrari’s design DNA while introducing advanced technologies for both performance and practicality — making it one of the most anticipated grand tourers in Ferrari’s modern lineup.
