On October 16, the Bugatti Divo made its official debut in China. This ultra-exclusive hypercar is limited to just 40 units worldwide, with a starting price of €5 million (approximately $5.4 million USD).

Exterior Design
The Bugatti Divo features the brand’s iconic horseshoe-shaped front grille, while its most distinctive characteristic lies in the 1,600 diamond-shaped patterns that adorn its body. The striking red-and-black color scheme is the inspiration behind its nickname, the “Ladybug.”
Each of the 1,600 diamond motifs must be precisely positioned along the car’s curves — evenly spaced, aligned with the aerodynamic flow, and without any distortion. The entire process takes approximately one and a half years to complete.
Bugatti conducted multiple rounds of testing to perfect the technique before applying it to customer cars. This is far more than a simple decal or paint pattern. To achieve the effect, the base coat of the body is painted red, after which a transfer film is meticulously applied. The pre-measured diamond shapes are then transferred onto the car with exact precision to ensure consistent spacing and shape accuracy, avoiding any stretching or deformation.
Details and Craftsmanship
The Divo features black aerodynamic components paired with black-and-red dual-tone wheels, complementing the intricate bodywork. The unique taillight design, when illuminated, casts a reflection that subtly echoes the red diamond pattern, further enhancing the vehicle’s visual harmony.
Power and Performance
Under the hood, the Bugatti Divo is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, delivering a maximum output of 1,479 horsepower (1,103 kW).
The car’s top speed reaches an astounding 380 km/h (236 mph), combining extreme power with refined French artistry — a true testament to Bugatti’s dedication to engineering excellence and bespoke craftsmanship.
