Maserati Grecale “Wine Edition” Official Images Released

Recently, media reports revealed that Maserati has launched a special edition custom model — the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato — in an effort to boost Grecale SUV sales and reverse its current sales decline. The new model will be available in Europe and North America, with pricing and production volume yet to be announced.

According to official information, the limited-edition name is derived from Il Bruciato, a wine produced by Marchesi Antinori, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious winemaking families. To honor this heritage, Maserati developed a unique exterior finish called Alchimia Scarlatta.

Exterior Design
Maserati describes this exclusive paintwork as a deep burgundy base color blended with copper-gold and dark raspberry tones, enhanced by a special pigment technology known as Chromaflair. The result is a finish designed to evoke the rich hues of red wine swirling in a glass.
The Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato can be equipped with either 21-inch Pegaso Forgiati or Crio Fuoriserie wheels, paired with black brake calipers.

Interior Design
Inside, the cabin features a combination of tan and deep red leather upholstery, with seats accented by “cannelloni” (Italian pasta tube)–style stitching patterns. Designers added dark red Trident logos embroidered on the headrests, complemented by matching stitching throughout the cabin.
The interior also includes a 14-speaker Sonus Faber premium audio system and a panoramic sunroof, enhancing the sense of Italian craftsmanship and luxury.

Powertrain
Mechanically, the Grecale Tributo Il Bruciato is based on the Grecale Modena variant and retains its powertrain setup. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder mild-hybrid engine, producing 325 horsepower (243 kW / 330 PS).

Market Outlook
While Maserati has not yet disclosed the price or production volume, it confirmed that the special edition will be sold in Europe and North America. Industry sources note that Maserati delivered only 11,300 vehicles globally in 2024, and the brand aims to reignite interest through such bespoke and emotionally resonant special editions.
