Today, the Tesla Model Y L has officially introduced a new Light Gray Premium Interior, available as an optional upgrade priced at 8,000 RMB.
It’s worth noting that when the Model Y L was first launched, it was only offered with a dark premium interior. The addition of the new light gray color scheme makes the cabin feel brighter and more inviting. Continuing Tesla’s signature minimalist design language, the soft hues complement the wraparound ambient lighting, significantly enhancing the sense of space in the six-seat cabin.
Addressing concerns that light-colored interiors might be prone to stains, Tesla stated that the new Light Gray Premium Interior is durable, stain-resistant, and easy to clean.
According to available information, the Tesla Model Y L was officially launched on August 19, with a starting price of 339,000 RMB. The model comes with a three-year zero-interest financing plan, with a minimum down payment starting from 99,900 RMB. In addition, customers who order through a Tesla owner referral can receive a paint option credit worth 8,000 RMB.
The Model Y L is not only a longer version of the Model Y but also the first model to feature a six-seat configuration, arranged in a 2+2+2 layout. The new model also brings upgrades to the audio system, seating, and chassis, offering an overall enhanced driving and riding experience.
