The 2026 BYD Tang N9 is priced starting at 54,572 USD

On September 17, it was announced that the 2026 BYD Tang N9 has officially launched, offering 3 models with prices ranging from 389,800 RMB to 449,800 RMB(54,572 USD to 62,972 USD)



In terms of exterior design, the 2026 Tang N9 continues the family design language of the Tang series, with a solid and elegant overall style that highlights the presence of a full-size SUV. The new vehicle features a closed front design paired with split matrix headlights, and the addition of the AGS active grille further optimizes aerodynamics. The vehicle is also equipped with a roof-mounted laser radar and hidden door handles. New dual-tone exterior color options have been added, including Frost Cloud Tea, Purple Sapphire Gold, Red Elegance Gold, Blue Star Silver, and Green Blossom Silver.

For intelligent driving assistance, the Tang N9 is equipped with BYD’s “Eye of the Sky” B driver assistance system. It includes 1 high-precision LiDAR, 5 millimeter-wave radars, 12 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, powered by the Nvidia Orin X chip. This system supports powerful functions such as end-to-end autonomous city navigation. Notably, the Tang N9 also introduces a new parking-to-parking feature, which will be available via OTA update in the fourth quarter.

Regarding body dimensions, the Tang N9 measures 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1830mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm. Its ground clearance is 222mm, with approach and departure angles of 21° and 22°, respectively. The vehicle features a suspension travel adjustment range of ±50mm and a wading capability of 550mm. Additionally, the new car is equipped with electric running boards.

Inside, the 2026 Tang N9 features a DiLink 150 cockpit and introduces a new “Golden Mountain Brown” interior color. It comes with a 13.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.3-inch central control screen, and a 13.2-inch co-pilot screen, along with a 50-inch AR-HUD. For luxury configurations, the Tang N9 features a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with a co-pilot zero-gravity seat, second-row small tables, dual 50W wireless phone chargers, a 17.3-inch ceiling screen, and a car refrigerator. Furthermore, the front and second-row seats are equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions, while the third-row seats also offer electric adjustment and heating.

In terms of powertrain, the 2026 Tang N9 is equipped with Yi Sanfang technology, featuring a dedicated plug-in hybrid 2.0T efficient engine and 680 kW of front and rear electric motors. The 0-100 km/h acceleration time is just 3.9 seconds. The vehicle offers a pure electric range of up to 230 km, with a total range of 1330 km. Additionally, the Tang N9 comes with Yunxian-A (dual-chamber air suspension) + predictive system, which can adjust the suspension stiffness in advance, and supports rear-wheel steering, a turning radius mode, and crab walking mode.
