It is worth mentioning that the pre-sale price of the pure electric version with the 800V architecture was also announced at this launch event, which is 189,900 yuan.
In terms of appearance, the front face design of the Nezha S shooting brake is consistent with the sedan version of the Nezha S. The front face adopts a closed design, with a luminous LOGO emblem embedded in the center of the vehicle head. Large-sized vents are equipped on both sides, and a rhombic grille is below. At the same time, the high-end models will also be equipped with lidar on the roof. The vehicle adopts an elongated LED daytime running light group, and the low and high beam light groups that integrate with the triangular ventilation opening of the front bumper are below. The overall competition pattern is very fierce, not only competing on price but also on technology, design, and marketing. Judging from the price of the Nezha S shooting brake, it does not have much advantage compared to the above competing models. Its prominent highlight lies in adopting the design style of a station wagon, filling the market gap of shooting brakes within 200,000 yuan. The competing models in comparison are the NIO ET5T and Zeekr 001. In contrast, the Nezha S has a more cost-effective advantage, and the addition of the extended-range version also solves the problem of range anxiety, providing a better choice for those station wagon enthusiasts who are passionate about traveling far and wide.
However, the performance of shooting brakes and station wagons in the domestic market is relatively mediocre. Of course, the Zeekr 001 is a special case, with a cumulative sales volume of 63,903 units in the first seven months of 2024, while the NIO ET5T is 26,296 units. Compared to the above two models, the brand recognition of Nezha Automobile is lower, so the corresponding sales volume should not be very optimistic. In addition, the performance of the three-box version of the Nezha S is also mediocre at present, with a cumulative sales volume of only 7,491 units in the first seven months of 2024. Now, with the launch of the Nezha S shooting brake, whether it can break this situation remains to be seen.
