July Domestic Automaker Ranking Released

On August 1, several emerging EV makers and new energy vehicle manufacturers released their July 2025 delivery data. The results show that many brands achieved strong performance, with Leapmotor, XPeng, and Xiaomi Auto all hitting record monthly highs.

New EV Startups (“Wei-Xiao-Li” and Others)
Leapmotor: Delivered 50,129 vehicles in July, up 126.9% YoY, marking the brand’s first time exceeding 50,000 monthly sales. Cumulative 2025 sales through July reached 271,793 units (+149.84%). Leapmotor’s lineup includes the C11, T03, C16, C10, C01, B10, and B01. Its C11 facelift launched July 10, with BEV and range-extended versions priced from RMB 149,800–165,800 and RMB 149,800–159,800, respectively. The new B01 sedan launched July 24, priced RMB 89,800–119,800. Leapmotor targets 500,000–600,000 annual sales this year, with profitability as a key goal.

XPeng: Delivered 36,717 units, up 229.45% YoY, with the new MONA M03 contributing over 15,000 deliveries. Cumulative 2025 deliveries hit 233,906 units (+270.26%). The new XPeng P7 will debut on August 6 in Beijing.

Li Auto: Delivered 30,731 units, down 39.74% YoY. Year-to-date sales totaled 234,489 units, down 2.21%. The new Li Auto i8 launched July 29 (RMB 321,800–369,800), while the Li Auto i6, a spacious two-row, five-seat EV SUV, will debut in September.

NIO: Delivered 21,017 units, up 2.53% YoY. Its ONVO (LeDao) sub-brand contributed 5,976 units, and Firefly brand 2,366 units. Year-to-date sales reached 135,167 units (+25.24%), with ONVO at 37,838 units and Firefly at 9,978 units.

Huawei HarmonyOS Smart Car Alliance (Huawei-Backed Brands)
Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance delivered 47,752 units in July, with AITO Wenjie contributing 40,753 units. The alliance includes five brands: AITO (Seres), Luxeed (Chery), Stelato (BAIC), Maextro (JAC), and SAIC’s yet-to-launch Shangjie brand. Current offerings span mid-to-large SUVs and sedans priced between RMB 250,000–1,000,000.

Xiaomi Auto
Xiaomi delivered over 30,000 units in July, its first time crossing that threshold. From January to June, monthly sales ranged from 22,900 to 29,200 units, totaling 157,900 units. Its annual target is 350,000 units.

Current lineup: SU7 sedan and YU7 SUV (launched June 26, priced RMB 253,500–329,900). The YU7 quickly became a blockbuster, securing 200,000 pre-orders in 3 minutes, 289,000 in 1 hour, and 240,000 firm orders in 18 hours.

Other Key EV Makers
Zeekr (Geely): Delivered 44,193 units in July, its 5th consecutive month above 40,000. Cumulative 2025 sales: 244,877 units. Zeekr brand alone sold 16,977 units (+8.44% YoY).Deepal (Changan): Delivered 27,169 units (+62.48%), YTD 170,405 units (+69.42%).

Voyah (Dongfeng): Delivered 12,135 units (+101.75%), YTD 68,263 units (+87.58%). The new Voyah Free+ launched July 12 (RMB 219,900–279,900), with Huawei’s ADS 4.0 and HarmonyOS cockpit. Voyah Zhiyin will launch in August.

Avatr: Delivered 10,062 units (+177.57%), YTD 69,146 units (+111.75%).IM Motors (SAIC): Delivered 7,027 units (+16.79%), YTD 33,078 units (+12.89%). On August 1, IM unveiled its new “Stellar” Super Range-Extender System, to debut on the new LS6 (Aug 15) and LS9 (Q4).
