On September 23, SAIC-GM-Wuling officially opened pre-orders for its brand-new MPV model—the Wuling Xingguang 730.

Vehicle Platform & Positioning
The Xingguang 730 is developed on Wuling’s new energy platform and fully incorporates the brand’s “Tian·Ling·Shen” technology suite. It is positioned as a mid-size MPV, offering three powertrain options: gasoline, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and pure electric. At this stage, only reservations are open; no pre-sale prices have been announced. The expected pricing range is between ¥80,000–¥150,000 (≈ $11,000–$21,000 USD).

Name revealed: June 23, 2025.
Debut: 2025 Chengdu Auto Show.
Market release: Expected in Q4 2025.
Distribution: First batch of vehicles will reach 220 cities nationwide.

Front Fascia: Split-headlight design, with two variations depending on powertrain:
Gasoline/PHEV: Large black air intake grille for a sporty look.
EV: Closed front design with vent-like styling, emphasizing simplicity.
Lighting: Standard parallelogram headlights with dual LED daytime running light strips.
Body Side: Long profile, floating-roof effect from continuous window line, hidden D-pillar, sliding side doors, and 17-inch dual-design alloy wheels.
Rear: Simple design echoing the front, parallelogram LED taillights with high nighttime recognition, roof spoiler, sculpted tailgate, and black cladding on the rear bumper for added ruggedness.
Color Options: Smoke Gray, Silver Frost White, Obsidian Black, and Twilight Purple, using BASF 2K clear coat with an 8-layer finish.
Dimensions: 4910 × 1850 × 1770 mm (L×W×H), wheelbase 2910 mm, configured as a 7-seater MPV.
