The refreshed Zeekr 001 is launched, starting at 269,800 yuan

On October 11, the refreshed Zeekr 001 was officially launched, with a total of four configurations available, priced between 269,800 and 329,800 yuan. Customers who place an order before December 31 can enjoy a 10,000 yuan trade-in subsidy and other benefits, with the limited-time trade-in price ranging from 259,800 to 319,800 yuan. As a facelift model, the new vehicle is built on the full-stack 900V platform, with upgrades in motor power, battery capacity, and range for the dual-motor version. Additionally, the entire lineup now comes with the standard “Qianli Haohan H7” advanced driver assistance system.

As an annual facelift, the refreshed Zeekr 001 largely retains the main design style of the 2025 model, with adjustments primarily in the details. The lower trapezoidal grille on the front bumper has been redesigned from vertical to horizontal slats, and the side vents now feature horizontal flow guides. At the rear, the triangular red reflective pieces on the rear bumper have been removed and replaced with new faux vent details. The Zeekr official also mentioned that the new Zeekr 001 FR model will include carbon fiber sports components, including a carbon fiber rear spoiler and carbon fiber side mirror housings.

In terms of body color, the new Zeekr 001 introduces two new colors: Mystic Purple and Starry Grey, alongside the existing Pearl White, Extreme Night Black, Morning Mist Beige, Interstellar Purple, and Hunter Green.

From the side, the vehicle features a smooth and sleek design, with subtle muscular lines. The front and rear wheel arches and the raised body lines on the door panels enhance the vehicle’s sense of power. The dimensions are 4977 mm in length, 1999 mm in width, and 1545 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3005 mm.

At the rear, the vehicle features a wavy-shaped spoiler at the roof’s end, and a continuous LED taillight design that is neatly arranged, providing good recognition when lit. The rear bumper design echoes the front, and the overall detailing adds a nice sense of layering. Additionally, the new model comes equipped with a hidden electric tow hook, capable of towing up to 2 tons and supplying power to trailer equipment.

Inside, the new model adopts a layered interior design and incorporates Monaco NAPPA leather, houndstooth pattern trim, and bright silver decorative elements to enhance the vehicle’s premium feel. The configuration includes a 16-inch 3.5K ultra-clear sunflower central display that supports 30° rotation, paired with a 39.3-inch AR-HUD head-up display, a 13.02-inch high-definition main instrument, and an 8-inch rear-seat entertainment control screen. The high-definition instrument and AR-HUD work together to provide dual-screen information display.

The new model also adjusts some of the central touch-control buttons to physical buttons, adds a 256-color interior ambient light system, and introduces the ZEEKR Sound Max Dolphin Theater-grade sound system, with a peak power of 4680W. The system includes 29 speakers, 8 headrest speakers, and 8 seat vibrators, with a 7.1.4.8 surround sound layout and Dolby Atmos technology. Additionally, the vehicle features a “Vast Starry Sky” roof with 500 independent starlights and 3 meteor trails, allowing users to enjoy the starlight at any time. The Zeekr 001 also features the industry-first ink-color LV zone dimming sunroof, which effectively blocks UV rays.

For driver assistance, the new Zeekr 001 is equipped with the standard “Qianli Haohan H7” advanced driver assistance system, which includes laser radar and 31 perception hardware units. The driving assistance computing platform is powered by the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip (700 TOPS total computing power), and it also comes with the standard “Little Blue Light” feature. In comparison, the 2025 Zeekr 001 is equipped with the ZEEKR AD system, with the entry-level 2025 WE version of the 95 kWh rear-wheel-drive model using dual Mobileye EyeQ5H chips (48 TOPS total), while other models use dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X chips (508 TOPS total). Zeekr has also stated that the previous models equipped with laser radar are eligible for an upgrade to the Qianli Haohan H7 system, and the company will conduct a crowd-funding survey to gauge user participation as the project officially starts.

In terms of power, the refreshed Zeekr 001 has been upgraded from the 800V high-voltage platform of the 2025 model to the 900V high-voltage platform. For example, the all-wheel-drive Ultra version has a total power output of 680 kW / 925 hp (front motor 310 kW / rear motor 370 kW), and it is equipped with a 103 kWh ternary lithium battery. The CLTC combined range is up to 762 km, with the fastest charging time from 10% to 80% taking just 10 minutes. Additionally, the refreshed Zeekr 001 is equipped with the CCD electromagnetic damping system and smart Magic Carpet function, and it continues to offer air suspension. The air suspension has been upgraded from an open type to a closed double-chamber air suspension, with a maximum adjustable travel of 85 mm and a maximum ground clearance of 206 mm.

The Zeekr 001, the first model of the Zeekr brand, is positioned as a pure electric mid-to-large sports sedan. Its production model debuted in 2021, and the refreshed Zeekr 001 can be seen as a significant facelift with improvements in the three-electric performance, comfort features, and driving assistance. In the pure electric mid-to-large sedan market, competitors at a similar price point to the Zeekr 001 include the Xpeng P7, Zhiji L6, Audi E5 Sportback, Xianjie S9T, and NIO ET5T. Non-hatchback models in the same price range include the Xiaomi SU7 and the Zhiji S7.
