On October 10th, the new 2026 Geely Xingyuan was officially launched. The vehicle is available in six configurations, with a price range of 68,800 to 98,800 RMB, and a limited-time price range of 65,800 to 95,800 RMB. Additionally, the STAR limited edition is launched with a guide price of 98,800 RMB and a limited-time price of 95,800 RMB, with an initial limited release of 1,000 units. For reference, the 2025 Geely Xingyuan has a price range of 78,800 to 107,800 RMB, meaning the new model’s price has been reduced by 10,000 RMB, further enhancing its product competitiveness.
In terms of appearance, the 2026 Geely Xingyuan does not differ significantly from the 2025 model. It adopts a rounded design style, with a closed front grille paired with sharp headlights and C-shaped air ducts on both sides, creating a relatively cute visual effect. As for the body color options, the new car introduces two new colors, “Chanson Purple” and “Coco Mi” (available for a limited time at no extra cost), along with other options like “Basil Green,” “Ice Berry Pink,” “Vanilla White,” “Milk Cap White,” “Sea Salt Blue,” “Truffle Gray,” and “Mousse Silver.”
On the side, the 2026 Geely Xingyuan eliminates the hidden door handles, adopts a two-tone body design, and creates the visual effect of a floating roof. In terms of size, the vehicle measures 4135 mm in length, 1805 mm in width, and 1570 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2650 mm. The interior features a five-seat layout, positioning the car as a pure electric compact hatchback. Its main competitors include the BYD Dolphin and Wuling Bingo. Compared to these, the Geely Xingyuan has an advantage in length and width, although its wheelbase is 50 mm shorter than that of the BYD Dolphin. At the rear, the 2026 Geely Xingyuan features a black tail spoiler and black rear bumper, with the “GEOME” brand logo between the tail lights.
Inside, the 2026 Geely Xingyuan continues to offer two interior color options, “Sky Mirror White” and “Fairy Green.” The center console adopts a symmetrical layout, equipped with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch multimedia display screen. It features the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit, supporting wallpaper desktop switching, shortcut cards, navigation bar customization, Flyme Link connectivity, customized Gaode Maps, dual-zone voice interaction, 540-degree panoramic images, and more. Additionally, the higher-end trim includes features like a 6-way adjustable electric driver’s seat, 50W air-cooled wireless fast charging, front and rear side curtain airbags, and heated front seats.
In terms of power, the 2026 Geely Xingyuan is built on the GEA new energy architecture and uses a rear-mounted single motor. The 310 km range version is equipped with a motor that delivers a maximum power of 58 kW and peak torque, paired with a 30.12 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a CLTC range of 310 km. The 410 km version has a motor with a maximum power of 85 kW and peak torque, paired with a 40.16 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, offering a CLTC range of 410 km. It supports a 1.66C maximum charging rate, with a 30-80% fast charging time of just 21 minutes, and a 10-minute charge adding 120 km of range.
The Geely Xingyuan is a small vehicle under Geely Galaxy, launched on October 9, 2024, marking its one-year anniversary. Since its launch, it has sold over 400,000 units, making it the best-selling model in China’s domestic market, firmly establishing its position in the market under 100,000 RMB. The new car offers two range options, 310 km and 410 km, and its main competitors will include the BYD Dolphin, JAC Yiwei 3, Wuling Bingo, Aion UT, and Namo 01. Data from January to August 2025 shows that the Geely Xingyuan has sold 295,271 units, making it the best-selling model in China, while the BYD Dolphin sold 89,955 units, and the Wuling Bingo sold 102,226 units.
The Geely Xingyuan’s strong sales performance is mainly due to its competitive pricing and product strengths. Its starting price of 78,800 RMB is about 20,000 RMB lower than the BYD Dolphin, while its size is larger than the BYD Seagull. This means that the Geely Xingyuan not only offers more space but also costs less, making its higher sales compared to the BYD Dolphin expected. In addition, its cute and stylish appearance has gained recognition from many female consumers, and the Flyme Auto cockpit provides an outstanding in-car experience in its class. Currently, its monthly sales are stable at over 40,000 units, and with the further price reduction of the new model, sales are expected to surge, with a target of 50,000 units per month.
