All-New Nissan Sentra for North America Unveiled in Official Photos, Launching Later This Year

Recently, Nissan officially released images of the all-new generation of the Nissan Sentra (North American version).
In terms of exterior design, it’s almost identical to the previously leaked Chinese-market Sylphy, but this overseas version introduces a new “SR” sporty trim. The interior design has also been revealed, featuring a dual-screen layout, marking a major departure from the current model. According to reports, the North American Sentra will go on sale later this year, while the Chinese version is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026.

Exterior Design
The North American version continues to adopt Nissan’s signature V-Motion design language. The headlights feature a “T-shaped” LED lighting signature, seamlessly integrated with the V-shaped front grille. A light bar runs across the top connecting both headlights, with the Nissan logo positioned in the center. The SR trim distinguishes itself with blackened details on the front grille, rear bumper, and side mirrors.

Dimensions
The overseas model measures 4,656 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width, and 1,450 mm in height, with a 2,710 mm wheelbase—very close to the Chinese-market version (4,656 / 1,825 / 1,448 mm, wheelbase 2,712 mm). It comes with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and the rear continues to feature a through-type taillight design. The SR trim also adds a rear spoiler for a sportier look.

Interior & Features
Inside, the new Sentra adopts a dual 12.3-inch connected display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. Physical buttons remain below the screens, integrated with the air vents.
Feature highlights include an electric sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, front seat heating, and a BOSE 8-speaker premium sound system.
Safety-wise, the model offers 10 airbags and Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist driver assistance suite.

Powertrain
The North American version retains a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, producing 151 horsepower and 198 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. The chassis setup consists of MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link suspension at the rear.
As for the Chinese version, it is expected to feature a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a maximum output of 99 kW (135 hp).
