On October 17, the new Lynk & Co 03 family was officially launched. The new Lynk & Co 03 is available in four versions, with prices ranging from ¥121,800 to ¥156,800, and a limited-time subsidy of ¥18,000, bringing the price after subsidy to $14,000 – $19,000 The new Lynk & Co 03+ is available in three versions, with prices ranging from $32,000 – $57,000. As a facelift model, the new Lynk & Co 03 has undergone upgrades in exterior design, intelligence, and powertrain to better meet the needs of today’s young consumers. The new Lynk & Co 03+ will also offer more personalized optional features.

Looking at the new Lynk & Co 03, the most significant change is a major adjustment to the front end. The design has become more restrained compared to the aggressive styling of the previous model. The front bumper features a trapezoidal air intake with a flatter shape, and the internal structure has been redesigned. The front grille is now divided into two layers, with the “03” logo integrated. The vehicle continues to use a split-headlight design, and the daytime running lights have not been changed. The headlight assembly is integrated with the side air ducts.
The new Lynk & Co 03+ keeps the design upgrades in sync with the new 03, with the main change being the addition of a matte gray body color. Additionally, the vehicle will offer a wide-body option package and carbon fiber aerodynamics kit. The wide-body package includes upgrades such as a wider front bumper, brake system heat dissipation, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and wider front tires. The carbon fiber aerodynamics kit includes a carbon fiber dual-air channel engine hood and a carbon fiber roof.
From the side, the new Lynk & Co 03 retains the same design as the current model, with dimensions of 4700mm in length, 1843mm in width, and 1460mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2730mm. The new car is longer than the previous model, and it also introduces 18-inch dynamic light blade wheels, enhancing its sporty appeal. At the rear, the new vehicle adopts a completely new sharp-edge rear design. The rear bumper retains its sporty features, and a large-sized rear spoiler has been added to enhance the visual center of gravity. The car still has dual exhaust outlets. The Lynk & Co 03+ continues to feature a fixed large-sized carbon fiber rear wing, with Downforce+ track-style badges on the wing endplates. The rear bumper also features a carbon fiber kit and small wind blade designs at both ends.
Inside, the new Lynk & Co 03 offers three color options: fiery red, pure white, and dark black. It continues to feature a 25.6-inch AR-HUD navigation display, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster, and a 15.4-inch smart screen. The car is equipped with the Dragonhawk 1.0 car chip and supports CarPlay mobile connectivity. Additionally, the high-end models offer the Qianli Haohan H3 driving assistance package, including NOA (Navigation on Autopilot) for highway driving assistance. The high-end models also come with a 14-speaker audio system and active ambient lighting, enhancing the luxury feel.
In terms of power, the new Lynk & Co 03 still offers a 1.5T engine paired with a 7DCT transmission, as well as a 2.0T engine paired with an 8AT transmission. The 1.5T engine produces a maximum power of 133 kW and a peak torque of 290 Nm, while the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 200 kW and a peak torque of 400 Nm, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.5 seconds. As for the new Lynk & Co 03+, it continues to feature a 2.0T turbocharged and supercharged engine, producing a maximum power of 227 kW and 257 kW, with peak torques of 420 Nm and 450 Nm, respectively. The transmission system is paired with an 8AT gearbox, with the performance versions and Racing version equipped with all-wheel drive, while the TCR version remains front-wheel drive.
The Lynk & Co 03 is the first sedan from the Lynk & Co brand and is the first sedan developed jointly by Geely and Volvo on the CMA platform. It was first globally launched in Tokyo in October 2018 and is positioned as a compact sedan. The Lynk & Co 03 family consists of the Lynk & Co 03 and Lynk & Co 03+, and the new 03 family has been upgraded in terms of intelligence and personalization, which may attract more young consumers. Based on its positioning and price, it will compete mainly with models such as the Honda Civic, Volkswagen Golf/ Golf GTI, Volkswagen Lamando L, and GAC Trumpchi Yingbao. In terms of sales, the Lynk & Co 03 family sold 3,812 units in September this year, ranking 4th in the Lynk & Co brand.
