Official Interior Images of the Changan Qiyuan A06 Released

On August 1, Changan Qiyuan officially released the interior images of its all-new mid-to-large sedan — the Qiyuan A06. Earlier in May, the model—previously codenamed C390—was officially named Qiyuan A06, with official exterior images unveiled. Real-car images were revealed yesterday. Built on the Changan SDA global EV platform, the A06 is the brand’s first sedan on this architecture. The car features Changan’s Fuguang design philosophy, equipped with LiDAR and blue positioning lights, and will offer both all-electric and range-extended versions, primarily targeting younger mainstream families. The A06 is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2025.

The official images reveal a minimalist cabin layout, available in Purple + White and Brown + White dual-tone options for a fashionable touch. The dashboard integrates a compact digital cluster with a large central screen, retaining physical buttons and dials below the screen for easier use. Other highlights include a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, and a modern tech-focused design.

Exterior Design
The A06 adopts Changan’s new Fuguang design philosophy, led by world-renowned designer Klaus Zyciora. The front uses a closed grille paired with a贯穿式 light bar, split-style headlights, and an illuminated central logo for high recognition. The hood features sharp creases that enhance its layered look.

On the side, the A06 has clean, straight lines with a fastback roofline, frameless doors, flush door handles, large alloy wheels, and orange brake calipers. LiDAR and blue lights are mounted on the roof, signaling advanced driver assistance capabilities. Dimensions: 4885 × 1916 × 1496 mm, wheelbase 2922 mm, placing it in the mid-size sedan segment. At the rear, the A06 uses a taillight cluster with double-line accents and an illuminated logo, echoing the front design.

Powertrain Options
Pure EV versions: Motors TZ180XS002 and ATDM04 (from Chongqing Qingshan Industrial Co.), with max outputs of 120 kW and 210 kW.

Range-extended version: 1.5L engine (model JL469Q1, from Changan Auto), max output 72 kW, paired with electric motors.

Market Positioning
The A06 is part of Changan’s fourth product lineup Qiyuan, alongside Changan, Oshan, and UNI. Current Qiyuan models include A07, Q07, Q05, A05, A06, E07, and the Changan Lumin. In H1 2025, Qiyuan sold 102,700 units, led by the Lumin (73,400 units), followed by the A07 (28,800 units) and Q07 (20,700 units). The A06 is expected to strengthen Qiyuan’s sedan lineup, though its market success will depend heavily on pricing competitiveness.

Changan also plans to launch a new compact sedan and SUV in 2026, followed by two mid-to-large models in 2027, further expanding the Qiyuan portfolio.
