The full-price offer for the vehicle is $39,600 to $43,600 USD.

The Cadillac CT6, a mid-to-large size sedan from the SAIC-GM Cadillac brand, was first unveiled at the 2015 New York Auto Show, launched in North America in 2016, and ceased production there in 2020. However, it continued to be sold in China and saw the introduction of its second-generation model in 2023. The new 2023 Cadillac CT6 launched with an official retail price of 359,700 yuan.

The new model is a facelifted version, built on the new-generation luxury rear-drive platform. The focus of the update is on exterior and interior refinements, with the highlight being the inclusion of the MRC 4.0 magnetic ride control chassis and the new V5.0 in-car system, along with multiple upgraded configurations.

Exterior Design: The CT6 continues to use Cadillac’s latest family design language. The front features a large shield-shaped grille with the iconic 142-LED light bars, paired with sharp, split headlamp units on either side. The grille has been treated with a dark chrome finish, while the engine hood features multiple creased lines to add a dynamic, sporty feel. The central grille hosts the Cadillac logo, enhancing the car’s recognition. In addition, nine 15mm LED lights, inspired by diamonds, are used in the intelligent matrix headlights with seven lighting modes.

Side Profile: The vehicle has a streamlined and robust design with a fastback roofline and offers 18-inch and 19-inch aluminum alloy wheel options. The 18-inch tires are 235/50 R18, and the 19-inch tires are 245/45 R19. The car measures 5223 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, and 1473 mm in height (1480 mm with 19-inch wheels), with a 3109 mm wheelbase, positioning it as a mid-to-large size sedan. At the rear, the vertically arranged tail light clusters are striking and unique. The chrome-plated trim and dual exhaust outlets further emphasize its sporty appeal.

Interior: The new model introduces the “Cloud Serenity” interior theme, featuring Fine Nappa leather, natural white oak, and brushed aluminum accents for a luxurious finish. The car is equipped with a 33-inch 9K curved screen and an 8-inch HUD display, powered by the new V5.0 system with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, offering 5G wireless network support for OTA remote updates. Other notable features include a three-spoke steering wheel, shift-by-wire gear selector, and a combined electronic and mechanical door switch. The car also offers the option of the SUPER CRUISE driver assistance system.

Performance: The new CT6 is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged engine, delivering 174 kW of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with the MRC 4.0 magnetic ride control chassis, which uses an active variable damping suspension system to reduce vibrations, isolate impacts, and enhance comfort.

As a luxury mid-to-large sedan, the new CT6 will continue to compete with models such as the Volvo S90, Lexus ES, and Jaguar XFL. According to retail data, the total sales of the Cadillac CT6 in 2023 and 2024 were 16,267 units and 4,446 units, respectively.

Currently, Cadillac’s product lineup includes SUVs like the GT4, XT4, XT5, XT6, sedans such as the CT4, CT5, CT6, and new energy models like the IQ RuiGe and IQ AoGe. Retail data shows that in the first nine months of this year, Cadillac’s total sales reached 74,081 units, with the CT5 being the top seller at 30,761 units, followed by the XT5 at 28,690 units. Other models, such as the XT4, XT6, and GT4, sold 7,283 units, 2,628 units, and 1,760 units, respectively.
