Official Interior Images of the New Zeekr 001 Released

On October 4, Zeekr, a subsidiary of Geely, officially released the interior official images of the updated Zeekr 001, a mid-to-large-sized sedan. As a facelifted model, the new car is developed based on the new 900V platform. The exterior design largely retains the style of the previous model, with only some details upgraded and optimized. The interior adopts the “Starlight Concert Hall” cabin concept, featuring “Flowing Light and Echo” panoramic ambient lighting, as well as added features like massage seats and comfort recliners. In terms of power, the dual-motor version sees improvements in motor power, battery capacity, and range. The new model also comes with the standard “Endless Horizon H7” driver assistance system.

Starting with the interior, the car features a new layered interior design, with Monaco NAPPA leather, houndstooth pattern trim, and bright silver decorative elements to enhance the vehicle’s premium feel. The new model is equipped with a 16-inch 3.5K ultra-clear Sunflower central touchscreen, which supports a 30° rotation. It also features a 39.3-inch AR-HUD head-up display, a 13.02-inch HD cockpit display, and an 8-inch rear entertainment control screen, with the HD cockpit display and AR-HUD linked to show dual-screen information. Additionally, the central touch controls are replaced with physical buttons, and a 256-color interior ambient light system is added. The car also includes the ZEEKR Sound Max Dolphin Theater-grade sound system, with a peak power of 4680W, making the car feel very tech-forward. For driver assistance, the vehicle comes standard with the “Endless Horizon H7” system, which includes a lidar and 31 sensing hardware components, and is powered by the NVIDIA DRIVE Thor-U chip (with a total computing power of 700TOPS), supporting navigation from parking space to parking space and equipped with a small blue light for driver assistance.

On the exterior, the new model still features a fastback design with frameless doors, keeping the overall silhouette similar to the old model, with only minor detail adjustments. The new front end is equipped with split headlamps, creating a striking visual effect, while the main changes are in the bumper trim and wheels. The lower part of the front bumper features a trapezoidal air intake grille, which replaces the horizontal bar design with horizontal strips. The two side air vents are integrated with horizontal guiding fins, making the design appear more refined.

On the side profile, the changes are minimal, but the smooth lines give the vehicle a powerful look. The FR version adds carbon fiber sport components, including a carbon fiber rear spoiler and carbon fiber side mirror covers, enhancing the sporty visual appeal. The car comes in several color options, including Extreme Day White, Extreme Night Black, Morning Fog Beige, Interstellar Purple, and Hunting Green, with two additional colors: Mysterious Purple and Starry Grey. The vehicle’s dimensions are expected to remain the same as the current model, which is 4977mm in length, 1999mm in width, and 1545mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3005mm. The rear of the car retains the same taillight design as the previous model, but the rear details have been adjusted, including the removal of the red reflective strips on both sides of the rear bumper, replaced by new faux ventilation details, adding a more sporty touch.

In terms of power, all models of the new car use the full-stack 900V high-voltage architecture, with the dual-motor version providing a total power of 680kW, equipped with a 103kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC range of up to 810 kilometers. In comparison, the 2025 Zeekr 001 uses an 800V high-voltage platform, with the dual-motor version providing a total power of 580kW, equipped with a 100.01kWh ternary lithium battery, offering a CLTC range of up to 705 kilometers.

The Zeekr 001, which is the first model from the Zeekr brand, was initially launched in April 2021 as a mid-to-large-sized sedan. The 2025 model was released in August 2024, priced between 259,000 and 239,000 RMB, with the Zeekr 001 FR version priced at 769,000 RMB, a 10,000 RMB decrease compared to the old model. The new model is considered a major facelift version. Given the new car’s positioning and the current model’s pricing, the new Zeekr 001 will compete with models such as the XPeng P7, IM L6, Xiaomi SU7, and other electric mid-sized sedans. The new model is expected to be launched on October 11. In comparison, the current 2025 Zeekr 001 is priced between 259,000 and 329,000 RMB.

As of now, Zeekr’s available models include the Zeekr 001, Zeekr 009, Zeekr X, Zeekr 007, Zeekr 7X, and Zeekr MIX, with a total of 7 models. After the restructuring, the company will be renamed “Zeekr Technology Group” and will include both Zeekr and Lynk & Co brands.
