On April 1, it was reported that Cadillac has recently continuously warmed up the new all-electric SUV model 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ. Tonight, Cadillac announced that the new car will be officially launched during the Beijing Auto Show on April 25. The car is positioned as a mid-sized luxury SUV and is touted as a “new option” for American-style pure electric.
Not long ago, on March 30, the official Xiaohongshu account of Cadillac triggered a heated discussion among netizens with a group of peculiar advertisements, but also announced some configurations. The new car will be equipped with an electric sunshade, double-layer acoustical glass, 9K Mini-LED curved screen, and lifetime warranty for the battery and three-electrical system.
This car is the second SUV of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQUltium luxury all-electric platform. Data shows that the dimensions of the car are 4822/1912/1642 (or 1644) mm, and the wheelbase is 2954mm, which is positioned as a mid-sized SUV.
Its exterior adopts Cadillac’s latest design language and is equipped with a closed grille in the shape of a mustache. The overall vehicle design language follows Cadillac’s angular style, but also has rounded lines.
In terms of power, the car is developed based on the General Motors Ultium platform, and is equipped with a driving motor with a maximum power of 150kW or 180kW and a power battery provided by SAIC Times. In the future, it is expected to launch a dual-motor four-wheel drive model.
