On October 21, SAIC Maxus announced the launch of the 2025 facelifted G50 PHEV model. The series includes two versions: the Navigator and Flagship, priced at $19,000 and $20,000, respectively. The vehicle continues to feature a 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain, paired with an 18.65 kWh battery pack.

The design of the car follows the 2025 facelift style, featuring a “Galaxy Wing” grille and split headlights. The body uses traditional door handles, and the rear doors are designed with a conventional opening style, matched with 16-inch wheels. At the rear, the vehicle is marked with a “PHEV” badge, indicating its plug-in hybrid status, and continues to use a hidden exhaust layout.
Inside, the car is equipped with dual 12.3-inch integrated screens, a continuous air-conditioning vent, a two-spoke steering wheel, and a column-mounted gear shifter. The seats feature a split design.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4825x1825x1778 mm, with a wheelbase of 2800 mm. It continues to feature a 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain, where the 1.5L naturally aspirated engine generates a maximum power of 72 kW, and the single electric motor provides a maximum power of 160 kW. The car is paired with an 18.65 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
