On October 20, the “Zunjie Automotive” official WeChat account published a statement titled “About the Account Migration.”

The official announcement stated: Due to operational needs, the account you follow, “Zunjie Automotive,” will undergo an account migration. After the migration, the business and functions of this account will be transferred to the new account “Zunjie Automotive.” From the details of the migration, it appears that the subject of the “Zunjie Automotive” WeChat account has changed. The original subject of the account was Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd., while the new account’s subject is Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd.
According to the information, Zunjie Automotive is the fourth brand under Huawei HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility, co-created by Huawei and Jianghuai Automobile. In December 2023, Jianghuai Automobile and Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd. signed a “Smart New Energy Vehicle Cooperation Agreement,” which outlines comprehensive cooperation in product development, manufacturing, sales, and services, based on Huawei’s intelligent automotive solutions, focusing on luxury smart connected electric vehicles. Jianghuai Automobile is responsible for the overall product development of the collaborative models, with specific responsibilities defined in agreements signed between Huawei Terminal and/or its affiliated companies and Jianghuai Automobile. Jianghuai Automobile is also in charge of building the production bases for manufacturing. In September of the previous year, Huawei transferred several trademarks related to “Zunjie,” “MAEXTRO,” and “MASTRO” (including both text and graphic marks) to Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd., all in the international classification for transportation tools.
In June of this year, their cooperation deepened again. On June 17, Jianghuai Automobile Group and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with plans to cooperate comprehensively in areas such as intelligent automotive solutions, enterprise digital transformation, and green low-carbon transformation, promoting the electrification, intelligence, and connectivity of the automotive industry. According to the agreement, the two parties will focus on three major areas: intelligent automotive technology applications, digital transformation empowerment, and green low-carbon development. Jianghuai Automobile has stated that they will continue to push the “Zunjie” project at a high level and strive to ensure the commercial success of the “Zunjie” brand, focusing on the high-quality development of the subsequent series of models, and continuing to deeply integrate with Huawei for mutual success.
The first model under the Zunjie Automotive brand, the Zunjie S800, was launched on May 30 this year. The new vehicle is positioned as a flagship large sedan, built on the Tuling II Dragon Platform. Four models were launched, priced at 708,000 RMB, 788,000 RMB, 818,000 RMB, and 1,018,000 RMB. The new car has been highly sought after since its launch. The latest data shows that in September, the Zunjie S800 sold 1,918 units, with a total of 2,924 units sold this year.
It is worth noting that the change in the subject of the Zunjie Automotive WeChat account is not unusual. Industry observers have noted that the operating entities of other official WeChat accounts for the brands under Huawei’s HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility, such as Wenjie, Zhijie, Xiangjie, Zunjie, and Shangjie, are not Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd.
It is understood that HarmonyOS Intelligent Mobility has brands like Wenjie, Zhijie, Xiangjie, Zunjie, and Shangjie, which were created through collaborations between Huawei and Seres, Chery, BAIC, Jianghuai, and SAIC. Regarding the migration of the Zunjie Automotive WeChat account, industry insiders have pointed out that this move may indicate that Jianghuai Automobile will take over the operation of the account in the future.
