On August 20th, SAIC-GM Buick released the official interior images of the Zhijing L7, a new model under Zhijing, its high-end new energy sub-brand. It is learned that the Zhijing brand was first launched on April 21st, and the Zhijing L7, as the brand’s first sedan, is built on the Xiaoyao architecture. It adopts a 1.5T extended-range powertrain and is expected to be priced in the 300,000-yuan range.

Let’s first look at the newly released interior. The interior of the new car adopts the design language officially called “Pure Floating Island” and features a two-tone color scheme, creating a fashionable visual experience. In terms of configurations, the center console of the new car is equipped with a 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central control screen. Additionally, the new car is equipped with a column-mounted shift lever and a hollowed-out storage space at the lower part of the sub-instrument panel, giving the overall interior a strong sense of technology.

Combined with the slightly upturned ducktail design, the visual effect is very rich and also makes the vehicle look more exquisite and atmospheric. The new car is equipped with a 1.5T engine with the model LD3 produced by SAIC-GM as the range extender, with a maximum power of 115kW and a peak torque of 230N·m. The motor has a maximum power of 252kW and is matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
As the first sedan under the Zhijing brand, the Zhijing L7 undoubtedly carries Buick’s expectations in the new energy field. The official positions the vehicle as a 300,000-yuan-class new energy intelligent luxury sedan. It is expected that after its launch, it will compete with models such as the Xiangjie S9 extended-range version and the Avatr 12 extended-range version.
