Spy Shots Reveal Jaguar “Type 00” All-Electric Coupe

Recently, foreign media outlet Carscoops shared the latest spy photos of Jaguar’s upcoming “Type 00” all-electric coupe, showing that the vehicle’s testing has entered a critical phase and is still being conducted on the Nürburgring circuit.

The newly released images reveal more details of the front air intake design, while the production version’s headlights appear significantly larger than those on the concept model. The rest of the body continues the design language of earlier prototypes, drawing inspiration from the Polestar 4 and Polestar 5, notably featuring the absence of a rear window.

However, the photos also show that the car’s trunk opening is quite small — the height is roughly at a man’s waist level — meaning users will have to bend down to load or unload items.

Previously, Jaguar announced that this “electric four-door GT” would be built on a completely new electric architecture. The car is expected to offer a driving range of up to 692 km and support fast charging, capable of adding 322 km of range in just 15 minutes. It will also be the first model introduced after Jaguar’s full brand reinvention, which was officially announced last year.

Jaguar has confirmed that the production version of the Type 00 will deliver 986 horsepower and a WLTP-rated range exceeding 692 km. The vehicle is scheduled for an official debut later this year, with market launch expected in 2026 or early 2027.
