On October 22, Porsche announced the launch of the 2026 all-electric Macan GTS, further expanding its lineup of electric SUVs.
Compared with existing models, the new Macan GTS offers more power and higher equipment levels, positioned between the all-electric Macan Turbo and Macan 4S in terms of both performance and price.
Performance and Powertrain
The 2026 Macan GTS is equipped with dual motors (front and rear), delivering a combined maximum output of 563 hp (420 kW) and 955 Nm of torque in Overboost mode. In normal driving mode, it produces 509 hp (320 kW).
For comparison, the Macan 4S also produces 509 hp, while the Turbo delivers up to 630 hp.
The GTS sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 249 km/h. It shares its rear motor with the Turbo and features a 900A silicon carbide pulse inverter.
Its 100 kWh battery pack supports 270 kW DC fast charging, allowing a 10%–80% charge in just 21 minutes under ideal conditions. The official range hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected to be around 463 km, similar to the 4S and Turbo models.
Chassis and Handling
The GTS comes standard with a limited-slip rear differential, sport-tuned air suspension (with a lower ride height), and the Sport Chrono package featuring Track Endurance Mode.
This mode, derived from the Taycan, optimizes battery temperature to delay power degradation, allowing the car to sustain peak performance for longer during track driving.
Porsche has also optimized the weight distribution to 48:52 (front/rear) and equipped the vehicle with Torque Vectoring Plus, enhancing sports car–like handling.
Rear-wheel steering is available as an option for improved agility.
Design
The Macan GTS stands out with unique front and rear bumpers and black exterior trim, making it the first model to feature these elements as standard.Starting from summer 2026, these design features will also be available for other electric Macan variants through a new Sport Design Package.The GTS comes standard with 21-inch dark gray Macan Design wheels, while 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels are optional.
Pricing and Availability
The 2026 Porsche Macan GTS is now open for pre-orders, with a starting price of $103,000.The first deliveries are expected in spring 2026.
