The exterior retains the current M8’s styling language, featuring a closed front grille flanked by split-type headlights. The front bumper incorporates a large cooling vent (full-width active air intake), enhancing sportiness. The rear showcases a signature Star River full-width taillight cluster with an illuminated “M8 EV” badge for heightened . Available color options include Liujin Black, Nuanyun White, Xingji Blue, Muye Green, Yezi Purple, Xiaguang, and Yinhe.

The minimalist cabin features a triple-screen layout: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 15.6-inch central touchscreen, and 16-inch co-pilot display, all powered by HarmonyOS 4. The HUAWEI ADS 4 (Advanced Driving System) includes a 192-line roof-mounted LiDAR, rear-facing high-precision solid-state LiDAR, and five 4D millimeter-wave radars, enabling active safety, intelligent navigation, and automated parking. A new Spotlight Collision Warning system detects pedestrians and cyclists at 30-80km/h, significantly improving nocturnal driving safety .

Single-motor RWD: 227kW motor, 705km CLTC range。Dual-motor AWD: 387kW combined power, 655km CLTC range。Both variants achieve a top speed of 200km/h, leveraging Huawei’s dual-circuit redundant power supply system for uninterrupted critical component operation even during faults .

Targeting premium family SUV buyers, the M8 EV competes with models like the WEY Blue Mountain, Denza N9, Li Auto L8, Ledo L90, and Lynk & Co 900. Building on the extended-range version’s success (21,564 units sold in July 2025), the EV variant aims to capture eco-conscious consumers with its ultra-long range and Huawei’s cutting-edge tech. Notably, it secured over 7,000 firm orders within two hours of launch, signaling strong market demand .
