On August 6, Wuling Motors officially unveiled images of its all-new model, the Bingo S, marking its global debut. The new car is positioned as a pure electric small SUV, having been officially named in June this year, and is expected to launch in the third quarter.

Exterior Design
According to the official images, the Bingo S adopts a brand-new design language that Wuling describes as a blend of “flowing light aesthetics” and modern minimalist fashion. The overall look is rounded, clean, and stylish. At the front, the SUV features a closed-off grille—a hallmark of EVs—flanked by square-shaped headlights with integrated “C”-shaped daytime running lights, giving it a distinctive EV identity. The bumper includes a trapezoidal lower intake and side air ducts decorated with silver trim, enhancing refinement, layering, and sportiness.
On the side, the SUV showcases smooth, flowing surfaces with a two-tone body. The compactly designed C-pillar and blacked-out A/B/C pillars create a floating roof effect. Silver trim along the side skirts further enhances this impression. The charging ports (both slow and fast) are placed on the left front fender. The stylish dual-tone five-spoke wheels resemble those on the Wuling Starlight S, adding to the car’s dynamic presence. The Bingo S will be available in four colors: Relaxed Grey, Free Blue, Leisure Purple, and Pure White. Dimensions are 4,265 × 1,785 × 1,600 mm with a 2,610 mm wheelbase, and it comes in a five-seat layout. At the rear, the design is boxy yet simple. The taillights feature what Wuling calls a “Pulse Star Ring” full-width light strip, with gradient “C”-shaped elements at each end. A large hollow rear spoiler further emphasizes its sporty character.
Interior and Powertrain
Interior details have not yet been released. Based on earlier regulatory filings, the Bingo S will be powered by a single motor with a maximum output of 75 kW, paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack. Specific battery capacity and range figures have not been disclosed.
Market Position
As a new entry in the small pure electric SUV segment, the Bingo S will compete with models such as the Geely Xingyuan, BYD Yuan UP, and Chery iCAR Nano 06. For reference, the Geely Xingyuan is priced from 68,800 to 97,800 RMB, the BYD Yuan UP from 96,800 to 119,800 RMB, and the Nano 06 from 89,900 to 119,900 RMB. The Bingo S’s eventual success will largely depend on its final pricing when it goes on sale.
