October 22 — Mercedes-Benz has announced that its all-new all-electric CLA Coupe, which opened for pre-orders on September 25, will officially launch on November 5. The pre-sale price ranges from (approximately $35,500–$41,000 USD).

The new model features a completely redesigned coupe-style exterior, with a front fascia adorned by 142 illuminated three-pointed stars that pulse dynamically. It boasts a 2,830 mm wheelbase and offers over 500 litres of combined front and rear cargo space. Available colour options include Obsidian Black, Moonlight Silver, Lava Red, Misty Pine Green, and Polar White.
Billed as the “smartest Mercedes-Benz ever,” the electric CLA is built on the company’s next-generation MB.OS architecture, integrating domains such as the intelligent cockpit, driver assistance, comfort systems, driving dynamics, and charging management.
Inside, it comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch central touchscreen, and a 14-inch passenger display. The Mercedes Virtual Assistant combines Doubao’s generative AI with AISpeech voice interaction, and the vehicle also features advanced driver-assistance capabilities co-developed with Momenta.
Powering the new CLA is an 800-volt electrical system with a silicon carbide inverter and the only two-speed transmission in its class. It offers a range of up to 866 km (CLTC), powered by an 85 kWh battery, with energy consumption rated at 10.9 kWh per 100 km. Mercedes claims that a 10-minute fast charge can add up to 370 km of range.
